What inspired you to write the book, Breakdown: A Clinician’s Experience in a Broken System of Emergency Psychiatry , that got published in October of 2018? . I’m in my 14 th year as a mobile emergency psychiatric social worker. Very few people are aware of the population I help and what they struggle with.
