This would be the first of many unsuccessful psychiatric hospital stays. I begin looking further into more advanced rehabs, but research has shown me that I couldn’t find one mental rehabilitation center that accepted Medicaid or Medicare in the US. I was entrusted to a mental hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont at age fifteen.
