Given that our clinic is a doctoral training clinic, the finding that racial match may impact outcomes emphasizes a need to recruit and support diverse cohorts of graduate students in clinical psychology PhD programs. As mental health providers within an institution, we must continue engaging in community outreach to erase treatment gaps.
