Donawa, LMSW. Our priority was to address how racism, patriarchy and heteronormativity deeply harms Detroiters and the marginalized body’s ability to feel safe, secure, and have a right to exist. This scholarship was established in memory of Donna Millette-Fridge by the School of Social Work in recognition of her commitment to helping the mentally ill become self-sufficient. Avery Smith, Bachelor of Social Work. After graduation I plan to take the test to get my LMSW and eventually work to get my LCSW.
