Release of Community Health Worker (CHW) Policy Brief
NYU's Community Health Worker Research and Resource Center and the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity have released a Community Health Worker Policy Brief, offering insights into how community health workers (CHWs) contribute to enhancing health outcomes and equity. The brief provides an overview of emerging policies that aim to support and broaden the reach of the work of CHWs, including but not limited to how CHWs facilitate connections between health care systems and members of the community.
