CAPC Launches One-Stop Shop to Fulfill New DEA Training Mandate
A new CAPC Learning Pathway helps DEA-registered clinicians meet new requirements set by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), as part of the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act. According to the Act, DEA-registered clinicians are required to complete 8 hours of training on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders before renewing their DEA registration. By completing the courses within the pathway, clinicians can fulfill this requirement and provide the necessary attestation. Additionally, upon completion, clinicians will receive a certificate that can be added to a performance file or resume.
