Journal of Palliative Medicine article describes the development of the Palliative Care Law and Policy GPS.

A new brief report in the Journal of Palliative Medicine describes the process for developing the Palliative Care Law and Policy GPS (GPS). The GPS—developed in partnership by the Center to Advance Palliative Care and the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at the Yale School—is a publicly accessible database that tracks palliative care legislation across the 50 states and DC. The report describes the methods by which the creators collected and categorized policies, including inclusion and exclusion criteria. It also outlines the next steps for the GPS. Watch CAPC's on-demand webinar or read a blog for additional information on the GPS.
