Celebrating inspiration and connections – and our network! – at the 2023 annual conference

Here at the National CASA/GAL Association for Children, we are still glowing with energy and excitement from our annual conference. It was an action-packed few days that left an indelible and invigorating mark on all who attended, whether in person or virtually. We are grateful for the outstanding participation and the success we achieved together.

The annual conference provides a space for our network to come together, united by our purpose, and reaffirm our dedication to making a difference in the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The active presence and engagement this year was truly inspirational. The passion and commitment that our attendees displayed for our shared mission is a powerful energizer.

Our incredible speakers delivered nearly 50 keynotes and workshops centered on the three themes of our 2030 Strategic Framework: reducing the number of children in foster care; strengthening and supporting families; and increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our network. Our collective focus on these priorities expanded our knowledge, ignited our passion, and reinforced our dedication to the critical work we do – and participants returned to their home communities more inspired than ever to improve outcomes for children and families. Together, we will continue to make a profound difference in their lives.
