Little Adventures, Big Adventures

Dear Readers, Before Covid, I always thought of adventures as something big and exciting, like climbing a mountain, or drag racing, something that is really hazardous or out of my comfort zone, exciting and new. This often, not always, involved traveling. Then came Covid, and things came to a halt. My definition of adventure started to change. I realized that even a walk in a different park was an adventure, as it was all new to me.

Those who seem hellbent on following Trump and Republican downs the path to authoritarianism may not be thinking about what life might be under a Trump monarchy. The liberties and freedoms that these folks cling to so zealously could easily vanish. Once in power, authoritarians usually do whatever they believe is necessary to maintain power. History is replete with examples.
